New Salem Baptist Church was founded in 1828. Today over 180 years later we continue to be an autonomous local church working in cooperation with the Missouri Baptist Convention and the Southern Baptist Convention. We affirm that the Holy Bible is the inspired, inerrant, infallible Word of God and the basis for any statement of faith and practice. We subscribe to the statement of faith known as “The Baptist Faith and Message” as adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention.  

 We encourage you to experience the JOY of worshiping  and KNOWNG the LORD during our Sunday services beginning with Bible Study at 9:30 A.M. followed by Worship Services at 10:30 A.M.   Wednesday evening choir practice is held at 6:30 P.M. with Prayer Services at 7:15 P.M.
